Khristopher Leach LPC. Owner
Hi I am Khris, I was a dual-sport college athlete (Football and Cheerleading)and received my Master of Arts in Counseling from Mid-America Nazarene University.
In therapy, I utilize a collaborative humanistic approach that focuses on mind-body balance and is tailored for each individual client. I like to utilize several modalities to therapy that include but are not limited to, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-based cognitive behavioral therapy (TBCBT), emotion-focused therapy (EFT), client-centered, solution-focused therapy (SFT), Brainspotting, and bio-neurofeedback. I am a devoted lifelong learner who will often incorporate the new skills I have developed into sessions. I believe in using empirically-based treatment interventions to best assist my clients in reaching their goals. I love working with all types of clients, from individuals to couples and families, as well as children. My experience as an athlete allows him to gain insights into the mind of the athlete, which can help optimize their performance.
I have gained invaluable experience working with children, teens, and families in a psychiatric residential treatment facility and an intensive outpatient program. I am very passionate about helping clients be their best and reach their full potential, individually or as a couple.
